A few months ago I decided to treat myself to a new eyebrow brush. Exciting, I know! I don’t tend to buy brushes very often – there always seems to be an endless list of makeup that I want to try, so new beauty tools tend to get forgotten! I had been using quite a cheap brush for filling in my brows for a long time and it was just too thick and wasnt precise at all! My all-time favourite brow product is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade and so I hoped ABH would do brushes just as well and it turns out they do!
I purchased mine from BeautyBay here and it retails at £15. I definitely doubted myself over why I was about to spend so much on a tiny brush but i am SO pleased I did. It is a very very thin, angled brush which has a brow spoolie at the other end which is so handy as it feels like two tools in one.
My natural brows are not good (cries!) I like to use my dipbrow to extend them further so they look more of a normal shape and this brush allows me to do this perfectly. Honestly, when I tested out my old brow brush i couldnt believe I ever went without the ABH #12 brush.
Because the bristles are so short and tightly-packed, it makes the brush so firm and precise that it makes it so easy to imitate the look of brow hairs, flicking the brush in small movements really does mimic a ‘natural brow’. It works equally well with products like the Dipbrow as it does with powders, and even layers the two really well for a more defined look.
The brow spoolie is great for combing brows into place before applying product and also feathering out the products to keep things looking nice and subtle. I really cant fault this brush! It feels study and well made so it feels like it will last me a long time. I can’t recommend this brush enough, another product from ABH which has become a staple for me!
