I popped into Primark a couple of day ago for a browse and I ended up picking up a few beauty bits! (and some fluffy socks of course)
The only thing I went in with the intention of buying was the socks, but these bits were all so affordable that I couldn’t resist!
First, I grabbed these face cloths! They were definitely less than £2 which is fab. I use these a lot for removing cleanser, I find they are a bit more effective than muslin cloths so I prefer these. They always needs stocking up as I use them every day!
Next I spotted this Makeup Brush Cleaner. I was so pleased to spot this as I was going to order a makeup brush glove online, so this was ideal to see! For only £1, you can’t go wrong, it saves you needing to use your hand when you wash your makeup brushes!
I tried this today and washed all of my brushes ( a long task! ) to find it is a brilliant little tool. There is a little handle on the bottom so you can hold it easily and really work the brushes into it.
It is silicone so really easy to clean and has a sucker pad on the back so you can stick it up to store it if you need to. So pleased I found this one!
On to the next purchase, I found this Facial Cleansing Pad for £1.50. I’ve had these before from other brands but decided to give the Primark one a go! Again, silicone so very easy to clean and you can stick this on up on bathroom sides and so on as well as the brush cleaning pad.
I apply my cleanser with my hands, massage in and then dampen this facial pad and really work the product in. I use circular motions and it feels brilliant, like you are boosting circulation and really deep cleaning your skin.
The tear-drop shape of this means it is ideal for fitting in to all the corner of your face and another really handy purchase!
Of course I got some Cosy Socks, these are £1.70 for two pairs, the most affordable you can find I’m sure! These keep your feet so warm, they stay really soft for ages too.
I am constantly wearing fluffy socks so I like to have plenty of pairs through Autumn and Winter! The first pair are grey with a Nordic Christmas print on, the second are white with red tops and hearts on. Very festive, can you tell I am excited for Christmas?
Finally, I spotted the nail polish range near the till and I had a quick look to find this nail polish in the colour ‘Bonfire’. I don’t own a colour like this, as it was only 80p I decided to give it a go.
The colour is amazing, it screams Autumn! It is a very brown toned red/orange, Bonfire is definitely the perfect name. I’ve never tried a Primark nail polish so I will let you know my thoughts once I’ve worn it, hopefully with a good topcoat it should be OK!
What are your essential Primak purchases? X
