The Christmas Tag 2016

Today I wanted to do a really exciting tag – The Christmas Tag! My all-time favourite season is Winter and the month of December is by far my favourite. Let’s get into the questions!

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
This is such a hard question, as I have about fifteen films that I absolutely love and watch every year! I have to say, The Grinch, Home Alone and Elf are some of my favourites that I feel super festive when I watch. Love Actually is one of my favourite films ever too, it has such a lovely mood to it. Also need to add in the Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special!
2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?
Always Christmas morning! However, we always open one present on Christmas Eve – always a new pair of pjs to wear that night! The feeling of excitement on Christmas morning is just the best, to open your presents and see your family open the presents you have bought for them!
3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
Honestly, all of my Christmases are follow quite a similar routine, so each one is as amazing as before! But I feel like I appreciate the season a lot more now I am older, I am so lucky to have an amazing family and I just love seeing them all at Christmas.
4. Favourite Festive food?
Ooooh this is a tricky one – food is my absolute favourite hehe. I think Terry’s Chocolate Orange is the best, and there is something lovely about selection boxes of chocolates being brought out. I also love buffet sort of food, and cheese! Mmmmmmm.
5. Favourite Christmas gift?
I have always been really lucky over the years to receive lovely presents, I particularly remember asking for a Baby Born Doll all year long and I finally got her on Christmas morning when I was about 6. That was amazing!
6. Favourite Christmas Scent?
Ooh my all time favourite smell at Christmas has to be the Christmas tree – we always have a real tree and the scent of pine needles is amazing. That just smells like Christmas time! But I also love any orange or cinnamon scents, I adore the white Company Winter candle (blog post here)
7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
On Christmas Eve, my brother and I always try to watch The Muppets Christmas Carol, The Grinch and Polar Express as we have always done that together! I also get given a pair of pyjamas to wear for the Christmas morning which is such a lovely tradition I would definitely want to do for my children! My boyfriend and I have exchanged presents on Christmas Eve before, because we both have big families and spreading time can by tricky!
8. What tops your tree?
Always an angel! My family have had the same angel ever since I can remember so she always tops our tree. Nothing against stars though!
9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
For me it was probably a puppy every year (my dad is allergic to fur so that was never going to happen *cries!*
10. What is the best part of Christmas for you?
For me, Christmas is about family. My family mean the world to me and I love spending time with them, I love that everyone gets together and feels full of happiness! But the build up to Christmas itself is just amazing – the music, wrapping presents, Christmas films the list is endless!

Aw I love that you open your new pyjamas on Christmas Eve to wear that night! So sweet ☺️ The scent of a real Christmas tree is just the best. Getting a puppy would honestly be the most incredible present! xx
