I enjoyed doing the Christmas Tag so much on my blog (linked here) so I decided to find some more festive questions to answer! Feel free to use the same ones, I just collected a few from different places that I wanted to answer!
1.What holiday Christmas traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
I can’t wait for Christmas Eve in general, we always have a buffet with snack sort of foods watching The Grinch and The Polar Express with new pyjamas on!
2.Where do you usually spend your holiday?
I always wake up at home on Christmas morning, I’ve never been away for Christmas! It just wouldn’t feel right for me, but I know lots of people love to go on holiday for it. I spend the morning at home and go to my grandparents to see my whole family in the afternoon through till the night, which is my favourite part.
3.What is your favorite Christmas song?
This is a really tricky on for me! I love ‘It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year’ as we always used to have it playing at home when I was younger, but there are literally hundreds that I love. ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’ is another! Any song where you can hear sleigh bells in the background haha!
4. What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?
Definitely gingerbread or Terry Chocolate Orange! I don’t like traditional Christmas pudding or Christmas cake like most people (hate marzipan and sultanas!) so I feel a bit strange for not like it.
5. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
Until I was about 16, I probably preferred receiving gifts because I never felt like I could give my family special presents as I didn’t have much money! But ever since I first started working and earning, I soooo much prefer giving other people presents! I feel like there is no better feeling than when you are super excited to give the perfect present to someone.
6.When do you start getting excited for Christmas?
I start to get little buzzes of excitement around October really! But the end of November is when I feel really excited, usually having done lots of Christmas shopping already! My boyfriend and I usually take a city break on the first weekend of December which feels really festive too.
7. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
I truly wouldn’t want to be anywhere apart from home at Christmas! But if I had to go on holiday, I’d love to go to Iceland I think, or maybe Lapland! It would definitely be somewhere cold, I couldn’t do a hot Christmas! Or maybe Alaska too.
8. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?
I always make about ten resolutions, but I barely ever stick to them past February! I think maybe this year I’ll make one or two really realistic resolutions and then maybe I would find it easier to stick to them!
9. What makes the holidays special for you?
The people around me! I love spending time with my family, both my immediate family and the larger family – I make sure to see everybody. I feel like it is just a time to be with the people you really care about.
10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
I think it has to be that feeling on Christmas Eve when I’m just so excited for what will come the next morning! But the food is one of the absolute best parts too.
I hope you enjoyed this festive post! If you have any Christmas themed blog posts on your website, please please let me know and link in the comments, I want to read as many festive blog posts as I can! Merry Christmas xxxx
