I know this is a bit late coming, but today I wanted to share the things I recieved in my M&S Beauty Advent Calendar from the 12th of December onwards. I can’t recommend this calendar enough, I am definitely going to try and get one again next year. It made my December so much fun, waking up and opening one each day!
I got the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer hair mask. This is a product I had heard people talk about before, so this was an exciting one. (although let’s be honest, every product is exciting!) I’ve used this once and it made my hair feel amazing, but I think I will use even more product and leave it for longer for maximum effect!
I love that this is a pre-shampoo treatment, as I find that a lot of leave-in masks can leave my hair feeling a bit weighed down.
This is the REN Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream. I have used this a few times already and really like it already – it gives a nice even base for makeup and I know it would be good to wear alone too. This is the first product I have used from REN and it has made a great first impression!
Another hair product, this is the Percy & Reed Wonderbalm. I haven’t gotten round to using this one yet but it sounds fab – it is a leave in hair style prep product, which you apply to hair before you style it! I’ll report back once I have tried this.
This is one of my favourite products I have received overall! It is the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil, which you can use on your face, body and hair. It smells amazing, but I was a bit worried about using it on my face. However, my skin LOVES this stuff! Literally, it is amazing, no more dry skin for me.
This was a really lovely one to receive. I have never had a crystal nail file before, but I have already used this so many times. It just feels like it works perfectly, shaping the nails without feeling like it is damaging or pulling the nails. Love it!
This is the Icelandic Relief Eye Cream from Skyn Iceland. Again, I haven’t had a chance to try this properly yet! I’m sure it will be good though, again, I will feed back soon!
I didn’t expect to get any makeup brushes from the calendar but what a great edition! This is lovely powder brush, it is so soft! I have been using this one daily too, it has happily slotted in to my daily makeup routine.
I’m sorry, this is another I haven’t tried yet! I don’t want to cause any breakouts by using too many new products at the same time so I am getting through them gradually. This is the Formula Absolute Ultimate Sleep Cream. It smells lovely and seems a brilliant consistency for a nightcream.
A makeup item now rather than skincare, this it the PUR Correcting Primer. I have been hearing a lot about this brand recently, I know a lot of people swear by their products! I have only used this once so far, but it kept my makeup in place all day, so a good first impression.
This one filled up the whole box, it is a really big product! This is the Magic Touch Body Cream from Rituals. This smells really amazing. Body moisturiser is a lovely product to have as it always gets used up!
This one was a lovely edition – the Burts Bees lip balm! This is one of my favourites which I’ve used before. It feels nice and tingly on the lips and does a good job at moisturising.
Next is the Rosie For Autograph lip stick in the shade Super Model Nude. This is a gorgeous pinky nude shade that is so easy to apply, you just swipe it on! I love the packaging of this too, I love rose gold.
This is the Studio 10 Miracle Effect Priming Serum. I haven’t used this yet but it sounds amazing for under make up! I think I’m going to try it next time I go out for a meal or something in the evening when I don’t need SPF.
And finally, I got a perfume from Shay and Blue London which is a boutique perfumery! This was a surprise as I dint expect to get any scents! But it smells amazing, and it is the perfect size to fit in my bag, love it.
So that was everything I got -I can’t recommend the M&S calendar enough, such an amazing way to try out new beauty products! Xxxx
