I have had the Flawless palette for about a year now, but recently I have been reaching for it all the time! So today, I am sharing a review of the palette, along with my thoughts.
Firstly though, I have to apologise for the lack of blog posts since the New Year! I have been really unwell with a flu and sickness virus, it was frustrating not to have the energy to be working on my blog. I am back now, I can’t wait to get back to writing daily!
Anyway, on to the review! This is from Makeup Revolution, one of my favourite budget beauty brands. It retails at £8, contains 32 shimmer to matte eye shadows, with a large mirror too. It is available in Superdrug, both in stores and online.
This easily has to be the best value eye shadow palette I own, but the best part is the shadows themselves! They are brilliant quality, in particular, the shimmery colours as these have such amazing colour pay-off. They stay put on the eye without fall-out, with strong pigmentation. They build up really well too, meaning they can be used as a simple wash of colour but also as a really rich, deep shade.
The mirror is really useful too, as it is a really good size so would be ideal for travelling really. I would say that the matte shades aren’t quite matching in quality, but they do the job if needed and blend as needed. I think the shimmer shades are the stand out formula, but I get use out of the whole palette really.
Here I have included swatches of some of my favourite shades, you can see the buttery formula of the shadows and how well they blend down my arm! The cranberry shade is my favourite from the palette, it is a really unique, vibrant shade that looks gorgeous in the crease and all over the lid.
I think that is everything! Let me know if you have any other questions about this product, but honestly, it would be great as a starter palette or to add to any collection. Please let me know your favourite eye shadows as I would love to add to my collection! Xx
