Review: Pixi Glow Mist

SONY DSC

One of my favourite new skincare products is the Pixi Glow Mist. This was a Christmas present this year, I chatted all about it in my ‘What I Got For Christmas‘ post! So today I want to share my thoughts on this new facial mist.

This is from the same range as the famous Glow Tonic (full review here) which I really love. Basically, it is a hydrating, illuminating mist that you spray onto your skin. It has oil in it, which is something I haven’t seen in facial sprays before! Definitely a plus for dry or dehydrated skin.

I have been using this a lot since I got it, perhaps my favourite new skincare product as I enjoy using it so much! It retails at around Β£16 for 80ml, and I think this will last me such a long time, as you only need a couple of sprays each time you use it.

My favourite way to use this is to spritz over my skin, after skincare and before foundation. It adds that extra boost of moisture which my dry skin loves! It doesn’t affect the base I apply on top, which is great of course.

This one is great to pop in our bag to refresh your skin during the day, whether you are wearing makeup or not. It has a lovely, fine and even spray to it that makes it good to apply. I also read somewhere that you can spray this into your hands and smooth over hair to tame and smooth at the ends, which makes sense!

For me, this is one of those products that isn’t essential – but I love it so much that I am using it all the time! I think it will be a great product for summer too.

What are your favourite facial mists/sprays? I’d love to start using these regularly and love trying out new products! Xx

Sounds so good, esp right now because my skin is on a total dry spell from the cold frosty air. Is our foundation still staying on nicely after spraying/letting it dry?

Yeah it doesn’t affect foundation at all if you just give it a gentle mist from at least half an arms length away I’d say 😊 yeah my skin is in need of moisture at the moment too! Xxx

I probably won’t get this, as I already have pretty oily skin. But I’m using L’Oreal’s Infallible setting spray. πŸ™‚

Yeah, that’s fair as I’m not sure how this would go with oily skin types! Ooh I’ve never tried that one, I might have to check it out! Xx

This sounds nice! Kind of odd that it has oil in it, but it’ll probably be good for me during the winter months! Great post πŸ™‚
