Toni&Guy Cleanse Dry Shampoo: Review

SONY DSC

The Toni & Guy Cleanse Dry Shampoo is one of my favourite hair products, and has been for a long time now! It is one of those products I always repurchase without really realising, like buying cotton wool or makeup remover – like a staple basic in my routine.

You can find it in shops like Boots and Superdrug, usually on sale for between £5- £8 (it often has an offer on it!) so it is pretty easy to get hold of.

I actually don’t really use this the intended use of absorbing excess oils – I use it to add volume and texture to my hair, espeically just after I have washed it! I have really long hair, so this product adds body and that much needed volume when it feels flat!

I still use my trusty Batiste when my hair needs to go days without washing, but this is my favourite way to add volume. I adore the smell, I really enjoy the scent of Toni & Guy products! But this also has a huge perk to it – there is never any white residue. So you can add it to your hair without having to worry about grey roots, which is essential if you are a brunette like me.

If I am going to tease my roots with a backcomb brush, I like to apply this to the roots first to really give that texture that gives grip, making it ideal for using when styling. I also love picking up the travel sizes of this to keep in my handbag to combat flat hair when I am out and about!

What are your favourite ways to add volume to your hair? I feel like it makes such a difference for my roots! Xx

OMG! I think the Philippines has this over at BeautyMNL.com, but I need to finish up my other dry shampoo first (it’s by Snoe, a local brand).

It is really nice for adding volume and lots of texture, especially if you have long hair like me! X

I love dry shampoo for the volume too, it’s one of my favorite perks about it, but I do use it for what it’s suppose to do too lol totally handy! My favorite one is Batiste Dry shampoo, it gives really good volume. I don’t really use anything else for volume because I feel like any other product will make my hair “dirty” fast, so dry shampoo gives me that happy medium of making my hair have the appeal that its clean while giving me a little boost!

I know exactly what you mean! Batiste is my true all-time favourite too as I love that one to clean my hair but for volume, I love testing out other brands! Completely agree xxxx
