January is done already! The products here are ones that have stood out to me so much as favourites throughout the month – you know those items you get excited to use each day! I hope you have had a good start to the year, I am looking forward to what February brings already
First up, a solid favourite throughout this month has to be the Morphe 35O palette! I have been using this almost every time I wear makeup. I have a full review of this palette up already, so I won’t go on too much about it.
For day time, I have been using the subtle, lighter tones, just sweeping the colour over the lid and just a slightly darker shade through the crease. For evening makeup, I love going all out and playing with the shadows, and I really can’t recommend this palette enough.
I don’t often love a body moisturiser, I tend to just buy whichever one is on offer! But I have been using this Rituals body moisturiser that smells amazing and like cherry blossom! The scent is light but lovely, and the formula is brilliant at moisturising the skin.
This is quite a small size as it came in my beauty advent calendar, which makes it great for travelling too, or even just popping in your handbag.
I featured this in my Body Shop Products blog post – the Skin Defense SPF 50 is my new all-time favourite facial sun protection. Honestly, I can’t rave about this enough. It has a thin, easy to absorb formula that moisturises and protects your skin all at once.
It doesn’t feel sticky or affect the way makeup applies over the top. I wear some sort of SPF daily and this has become an immediate favourite.
This month I have been using my Seventeen Stay Time Concealer a lot. I tend to always buy concealers a lot lighter than my foundation so I can brighten underneath my eyes, but I have this in the shade ‘fair’ which is nearer my foundation colour.
So I have been using this to really conceal my skin on my face, meaning I have been applying a lot less foundation and just using this to touch ip any areas of redness and discolouration. A fab concealer that has really good staying power.
In January, I discovered the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. Despite its cult following, I had never got around to trying this, so I have been using this mini sample size to try it out. I love it!
It leaves me skin feeling clean and nourished. It doesn’t strip the skin so is perfect for daily use. It has become one of my favourite cleansers, it is really effective at removing eye makeup too!
My current favourite colours to wear on my nails are pinky nude shades. This Essie polish is in the colour ‘Not Just A Pretty Face’. I absolutely adore it! I think colours like this looks subtle and classy, plus they need less upkeep. This one lasts over a week on my nails, I love the Essie formula.
With this one, you can wear just one coat for a very subtle, french manicure look of build it up with 3 or 4 coats for an opaque look like my nails in the photo.
Another Body Shop product! This is the Honey Bronzer in the colour 01. I have used this every time I have worn makeup without fail this month! It is a lovely light shade that isn’t grey toned or too warm, it is literally my perfect bronzer shade for my skin.
I have been using this as an eyeshadow, simply as a wash of colour over the lid. I love the look of pairing bronzers as shadows – I feel like it is a really easy way to pull a whole look together.
Not a beauty favourite, but I have to mention The White Company Candle in the scent ‘Seychelles’. My parents bought me this as a Christmas present so I have been burning it throughout January. It has the most amazing, summery, fresh scent. I wrote all about it in this blog post, it has a lovely throw of the scent around the room without being too strong or over powering.
That rounds up my favourites for the month of January! I have loved so many products this month, sorry it is quite a long post but I wanted to share everything. What have your favourites been over the last month? x

I’m so glad I’ve tried it, i love it too! Thank you lovely πx
So many lovely favorites! I’m the same when it comes to body lotions– whichever is on sale is the one I buy lol. That one sounds like it smells lovely! I keep hearing about the body shops makeup and skincare, I really must do a haul there soon. SPF 50 is a really impressive sunscreen rating, especially from a western brand! I’ve also been loving nude nails lately. That essie shade is just stunning π

Ooh that sounds lovely though, it’s nice to have a little stock you can use if you need it! I must admit, I truly love it, I do think the amount of shadows you get is so worth the money! Xxx
The TBS Skin Defense sounds nice! Nothing I hate more than sticky/greasy sunscreen. I’ll have to remember to pick that one up soon! π
