I wanted to share a few corners of my bedroom that I am really happy with at the moment. I recently wrote all about my tiny new bedroom in this blog post. It has become a little happy place for me, and I am fully embracing the ‘hygge’ lifestyle with plenty of fairy lights and soft fluffy throws!
My boyfriend bought me the gorgeous copper candle holder for Christmas, you have probably already spotted it in some of my blog photos! I love the copper trend so much, so I am enjoying adding little accents of copper to my room. The candle I am burning currently is the ‘Seychelles’ candle from the White Company. I wrote about it in this blog post, it is the most amazing, summery scent.
The other side of my window sill I have my mirror, my mum treated me to it when I moved into my room! It is in a wooden style, which is perfect to match with my shelves that I have above my bed. I also have this little grey tray dish from B&M which I like keeping products in that are new or that I am trying out – that way I see them each I do my makeup. A lot of the items in it came in my M&S Beauty Advent Calendar – I am still trying out all the new pieces I got!
A closer look at one of my shelves. I use the classic IKEA Sakura pots to store my makeup in, I love how pretty they look. The orangutan toy came with my orangutan adoption pack that my boyfriend got me for Christmas! It is so cute, I love keeping it on my shelf.
I also have my ‘Kid, you’ll move mountains’ quote, of course it is from ‘Oh The Places You’ll Go’ by Dr Seuss. I made this print myself, and the frame is from Tiger, one of my favourite home wear shops. The messy pile of silver next to it is a dish with some of my favourite jewellery in, which definitely needs a sort out.
My favourite new addition has to be my fairy light wall. I bought these from Amazon, they were around £10 I think! They add such a lovely, warm light to the room, and make it feel cosy and safe. I always keep them just on the continuously on setting, but it comes with so many different settings. Fairy lights are my favourite way to make a room feel homely.
I hope you enjoyed this post!
