2018 Review Update:
Hello from the future! As I wrote this blog post over a year ago now, I just thought I’d jump in to add that several years on, this is still my favourite gradual tanner of all time. I tend to use 2 layers, which last over a week, giving me the same colour as one layer of the ‘dark’ tan. This foam is worth a try – it certainly stands the test of time. Happy reading!
I have a new favourite beauty product! Recently I bought the Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Foam, which I featured in my huge Superdrug haul. I have wanted to try this for the longest time, but I couldn’t find many reviews so I felt unsure. When I saw it on offer though, I decided to pick it up!
Bondi Sands is my favourite tanning brand, I have never been disappointed by their products. I have a Winter tanning routine as well as a Bondi Sands Dark Foam review up on my blog already, showing I am a loyal fan!
The Everyday Gradual Tanning Foam retails at around £12.99. The idea is basically that you can apply as you would a moisturiser but with added gradual tan. It is a clear foam that I love to apply with a mitt. It goes on really smoothly and dries within about five minutes. I like applying it last thing at night so I can sleep in it, so I just use it after a shower in the evening and then shower again in the morning.
I feel like it is a great multi-use product. I love using it alone to add a subtle glow. It gives the most natural colour to the skin ever. The colour isn’t too warm toned – no orange skin to be seen! Applied onto bare skin, this gives a very subtle, pretty colour on the first day, but when you apply it on the second/third days you can build up a much deeper colour.
But you can also use this as you would use a moisturiser and to prolong your natural/fake tan you are already wearing. I feel like this would go hand in hand with the tanning foams, used midway through the week for a quick colour boost.
The thing I am most impressed with is the way the tan from this stays on my skin. It fades so naturally, no patchiness, nor does it rub away easily. You just let it fade away, or of course you can use an exfoliator to remove the colour if you need to.
I feel like this is the best low maintenance tan I have ever used, with complete control of the colour by how often you apply! What are your favourite self-tanners?
