I know this post is a few days late but time just seems to be flying! June is here already, I can’t believe it.. I started a new job that I’m really enjoying and had lots of weekend day trips, a very lovely month. Today I’m talking about the beauty products I have been using over the past month!
I have been using my Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre so much recently. These are pigmented lip glosses (which smell amazing) and I have the colour seductions. It is like a nude-peach shade that isn’t too pale or dark – such a pretty colour. I love how it seems to go with any makeup look. My favourite way to wear this is just on its own, just a light wash of colour but it also layers really well with lipstick and liner too for a bolder look. These retail at £16, with he most beautiful packaging. I have a full Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre review up on my blog too.
Another makeup favourite is an eyeshadow! I reviewed this Kiko Water Eyeshadow in 208 last month and I am still obsessing over it. I have been using this as a highlighter too as it is such a universal, gold toned colour – it looks so pretty on paler and deeper, tanned skin tones. If I use this as an eyeshadow, I apply with my finger to get a really opqaue wash of glittery gold. I even love the packaging, it reminds me of a thumb print! For around £8, this is a great multi-use product that i just keep reaching for.
I have to talk about a perfume favourite – I have been using the Chloe perfume as my daily scent this month. I have had this for so long but never got into the routine of using it! But it is just such a lovely, everyday perfume because the scent isn’t sickly sweet, or too overpowering. It is pretty, floral and feminine. Plus, I share my name with it so it feels like I have my own personalized perfume bottle haha! I’d love to know your favourite daily perfumes, please let me know which ones you love! Trying new scents is one of my favourite things.
Finally, I have been wearing this nail polish recently and it has reminded me just how much I love it. It is from the Quick Dry range from Barry M, in the colour ‘Pit Stop’. It is such a pretty, unique shade – a mix of nude, pink and beige and can look different depending on the lighting. I feel like this is a universally flattering colour that pairs with any outfit. What more could you want?
