Primark is one of my favourite shops to pick up trend pieces – perfect for when you want to pick up current fashion picks without spending a fortune. I popped in last week and they had some lovely summer dresses, some very similar to the ones I’ve been spotting in Zara and Topshop.
As you can see in the photo above, I found this gorgeous gingham dress! Smock dresses are one of my favourite casual pieces to wear I am loving the dropped waist, slouchy fit. This isn’t fitted, so I love pairing it with a leather jacket. This cost £5! Such a bargain, I would have paid five times that much elsewhere.
I love the sleeves on this dress, they flare out, which reminds me of festival inspired, boho outfits. It has a tie-fastening at the back. This is one of those pretty dresses that you can just throw on with a jacket and your done!
Another dress! This one is very Zara inspired. The fabric is the crepe sort of material that doesn’t give away the price (£13!) and could look expensive. The cut and fit of this dress really impressed me.
The tie detailing at the back that you can see in the photo is my favourite – so cute. The bottom of the dress has two tiers, I just love that is it a little different! Blue and white feel like such summery colours too.
The fabric is what caught my eye – the carpet-bag style pattern felt unique and slightly more luxury! I bought another pair of the Primark that featured in my previous Primark Haul and they are such good value for money. I’m just not sure about the open-back but I’ll give them a go!
Primark have some lovely pieces in at the moment, so it is definitely worth a look. Let me know if you’ve been on recently!
