Last week I popped into Superdrug to pick up some new concealer and I just couldn’t leave without a few more purchases! I just can’t resist when I look at all the amazing new products – anyone else find it hard to resist?! Anyway, I thought I’d share the things I bought here on my blog today.
First up, I spotted this b-e-a-utiful nail polish from Sally Hansen. This is one of those perfect, pink-nude shades. I got the colour ‘Mauve Along’ which is a gorgeous, muted pink-mauve shade. It is a very universal colour, that would look pretty on so many skin tones. I’ve used this already actually, and I am very impressed with the quality of the polish. Remaining chip-free after 5 days, I have decided to pick more from Sally Hansen because they had the best colour range too! So Sally Hansen Nail Polish in Mauve Along certainly gets a thumbs up from me.
Another new purchase for me was the Batiste Texturizing Spray. I have very long, straight hair. I have a lot of hair but it is pretty fine, so I love using mousses, salt sprays and dry shampoo to add texture. Until now, I hadn’t had an actual texturizing spray though, I always used the Toni & Guy Dry Shampoo. (which smells incredible by the way!) I have always wanted to try the Oribe Texturizing Spray, ever since I saw Anna talk about it on her blog – but I am too scared to spend that much in case I don’t like it!
So when I spotted this one for just a few pounds, I decided to pick it up. I have only tried this once but I have fallen for it already! It adds texture without feeling heavy, too gritty, and didn’t leave my hair feeling dirty. The scent is lovely too. If you are looking for a budget-friendly texture spray, this is definitely one to try.
All my concealers ran out at the same time – does this happen to anyone else?! This was the whole reason I headed to Superdrug in the first place. My two usual favourites are the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. But, I had been hearing so many good things about this Bourjois version, so I decided to go for it.
I’m so glad I did! (this is very unusual for me to buy new products and actually love all of them!) So, this is the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer. I have used this twice and I am already regretting not buying it before. The formula is rich and creamy, radiant but not greasy or oily and lasts all day. I had very minimal creasing under my eyes when I used this which is amazing too. For £8, this feels more like a high end concealer. I will definitely be writing a full review on this soon.
Finally, yet another Bondi Sands purchase. I know, I am completely obsessed with this tanning brand. I have loved every single product of theirs that I have tried, so it only seems right to collect the lot! The entire collection is on sale at Superdrug at the moment, so now is definitely the time to buy! This is the Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk. I already have the foam version and reviewed it in this post – I adore it. So, I decided to get the cream version.
I plan to use this whenever I need to give my skin some very light colour, or to top up the Bondi Sands Tanning Foam. Next on my Bondi Sands wishlist is the Liquid Gold Gradual Tanning Oil – it looks like such a cool idea.
