The 2 Beauty Oils You Need In Your Life

beauty oils

If you can get your hands on some good beauty oils, it will make you life so much easier! I use at least one of the oils I’m about to talk about every single day.

As a dry skinned gal, an oil can makeup such a difference, especially through the Autumn and Winter. I have tried quite a few but I’ve narrowed it down to my two, ultimate favourite beauty oils.

nuxe beauty oil

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse – Multi Purpose Dry Oil

So, if you want an amazing does-it-all beauty oil, you need this one in your life. I’ve actually been nothing but impressed by Nuxe so far -all of their products that I have tried have been spot-on, and feel very luxurious. Using this oil always feels like a treat.

The Nuxe oil is lightweight, glides over the skin and smells lovely. I don’t normally like fragranced skincare products, but it really does have an amazing scent. I’ve not had any trouble with this clogging pores

This oil has about 100 uses! You can apply it as a body moisturiser, or as a treatment for any dry patches. I love using it as a cuticle oil when I am doing my nails, as it isn’t too heavy and sinks in quickly. Mix it with your foundation for a glowy, healthy look that has a sheerer coverage. Use it as a moisturiser for your skin, as a hydrating primer applied half an hour before makeup. Add a few drops to your bath for silky smooth skin or apply as a hair mask.

This comes in 2 sizes – a mini version with 30ml of oil, or the large version with a spray bottle with 100ml. The spray bottle would be super handy, but given that you only need a drop, it lasts a really long time. The smaller bottle has lasted me such a long time!

josh wood hair oil

Josh Wood Radiant Shine Hair Treatment Oil

Now, as much as I love my Nuxe Oil – I wouldn’t be without this product for my hair. The Radiant Shine oil has been a staple in my haircare routine for about a year now! It is a much thicker oil, but still lightweight. It smells absolutlely incredible without being too overpowering.

Again, I use this in several different ways. I sleep with dry shampoo in my hair overnight to extend the time between each hair wash. As handy as this technique is, it can leave the ends of my hair feeling dry by the second day of using it. That is where this fab little oil comes in.

So, last thing at night, I apply dry shampoo to the roots of my hair to absorb any oil  (easier to prevent dirty hair than fix it afterwards!) and then to the lengths and ends, I apply about 3 drops of the Hair Treatment. This goes to work overnight – absorbing any oils at the roots whilst moisturising the lengths. BY the next day, my hair feels clean again without feeling dry at the ends!

I also love to use this as a hair mask. If I know I’ll be washing my hair the next day, I’ll go to sleep with this oil slathered into my hair as a pre-shampoo treatment. Shampoo away and you’ll be left with silky locks!

I love this! My favorite oils are the Kiehl’s night time and day time concentrates. The evening one is scented with soothing lavender, and I use the morning one after a long night to revive my skin. Perhaps I’ll have to try these…anyways, happy blogging!

I always see people talking about Nuxe. I need to see what all the hype is about on that one! Love that the oil has so many uses!

Agreed – a multi use oil saves you money as you don’t need to buy a separate one for each purpose! It is a really lovely one x
