I love finding beauty products that I love and stand the test of time. However, when I look at my makeup and skin care collection, I always notice that the brands I buy from are completely varied! My favourite foundation might be from Nars, but I will always go to Anastasia Beverly Hills for my brow products. Today I’m chatting about a few of the brands I am loyal too and will always repurchase from.
The Ordinary
When Deciem released their skin care line, The Ordinary, I could not resist treating myself to a few things. The brand uses high-quality effective ingredients that truly work at affordable prices. For an average bottle of skin care, you are looking at paying around £5 to £10. Whether you have dehydrated skin (try the hyalruonic acid serum) or spot-prone skin (the peeling solution has become famous), there will be something for you.
That aren’t many brands that sell both make up and skin care that are on the same level, and could rival each other. The Ordinary does this brilliantly though. The Serum Foundation has become an absolute staple in my beauty bag for a light but medium coverage base for just £6 and the Coverage Foundation is worth a try too. For value for money and quality, The Ordinary wins every time.
Maybelline
Whilst I’ve never even tried a concealer, foundation or powder from Maybelline, there is one beauty product I’ll always repurchase from the brand. Mascara – they simply make the best high-street mascaras without a doubt. There’s something comforting about a brand that you’ve grown up with. I can remember buying my first Maybelline mascara, using it until it was completely dried.
All of their mascaras are pretty amazing, but the stand-outs for me have to be the Lash Sensational and the Rocket Volume. Both do wonders for my lashes! It’s the one beauty product I wouldn’t be without and I can always rely on Maybelline to create a brilliant one. Their Brow Drama brow gel is worth a try too, with a perfect cool-toned brown shade for me.
Glossier
I’m new to the brand as a whole, having only tried it for the first time last year. Despite this, I’ve been so impressed that I know it will be a brand I’ll always continue to purchase from! Glossier create such beautifully packaged skin care and makeup, with a gorgeous pink tone running throughout.

The Milky Jelly Cleanser has become an absolute staple in my routine. The hype around this product is truly well deserved! It’s the perfect second cleanse, leaving my skin feeling clean and soft. Like the best version of my natural skin. I cannot wait to place another order, this time trying more of the makeup. I know the Cloud Paint is now an essential in many makeup bags and the Boy Brow has an amazing reputation too.
What are your go-to beauty brands?
Would love to try Glossier products ❤️

3 very good all-rounders. Glad you love Maybelline too! Can recommend all of them ☺️ X
Snap with Maybelline mascara! I deviated at the moment and got a Dior mascara (I was out of town and desperate OK?) and I will NEVER stray again! At the moment I am using their Master Camo range for my dark circles and Fit Me! Concealer and they are well worth the money! xx

Haha, I know that feeling!! My only exception was the Marc Jacobs volume mascara which is also very fab! I love the fit me concealer, and now I’d like to try the master camo too! X
Definitely give it a go! I got mine from Boots as Superdrug don’t seem to stock it! X

Ooh thank you – I will keep an eye out!! X
For me it is MAC, without a doubt. I find they are the most reliable across the board. For skincare 100% has to be elemental herbology, they are amazing! 🙂
