Well hello there. I haven’t had a week away from my blog in a long time. It feels funny to be typing away again – it’s funny how quickly a habit starts to disappear!
I’ve had the best long weekend away in the forest…my boyfriend and I took a trip to Centre Parcs to stay up in an apartment among the trees. I’ve eaten so much good food, from enchiladas to pizza, stayed makeup-free, relaxed at the spa and been swimming every day. Between playing table tennis, crazy golf and long walks, I’ve been napping, watching Crufts and generally spending less time on social media. It is SO good to have a break sometimes.
Whilst we are on the topping of swimming and similar, I bought this bikini from Topshop before I left and this black bikini from ASOS too. Both of them were such good quality, with a really flattering shape too, especially if you are smaller in the boob department! I’ve been hiding in one-pieces for a while now so it was nice to feel happy in a bikini – no changes to my body, only my mindset!
If you get the chance to visit one of the Aqua Sana spas at any of the Centre Parcs resorts, please do! If you can afford a treatment, even better – but we had the best time simply at our twilight spa session without any extras. With plenty of different rooms, from saunas to steam rooms and a heated, outdoor pool under the stars, it is such a tranquil experience. There are huge soft loungers covered in blankets next to wood burners for you to curl up and read in, and just such a peaceful atmosphere.
If a guide to staying at a Centre Parcs resort on a budget is something you’d like to see, please let me know, as I think we have mastered it now! Known for being more on the expensive side, it is possible to have an amazing, affordable trip there without breaking the bank.
Aside from that, I have lots of fresh ideas for content here on my blog. I have a few days to take/stock up on new images to share on my Instagram and here on marblebeauty.co.uk. Thanks for reading!
